Xiaomi Vision GT Introduces a Digital Hypercar Vision for the New Era of Luxury Car Brands

At Mobile World Congress Barcelona, Xiaomi revealed the Vision GT, a digital hypercar concept created for Gran Turismo 7. The project introduces a new expression of performance design and technological imagination, signaling how innovation from the technology sector increasingly intersects with the universe of luxury car brands.

For the 1%, the Vision GT represents the convergence of advanced engineering, digital culture, and the evolving landscape of automotive creativity.

A Digital Stage for Future Performance

The Vision GT was developed for the Vision Gran Turismo program created by Kazunori Yamauchi, a platform where manufacturers explore bold automotive ideas through virtual design. Xiaomi now joins an exclusive group of global manufacturers participating in this initiative.

The concept exists entirely in digital form within Gran Turismo 7. Engineers and designers from Beijing, Shanghai, and Munich collaborated to develop the vehicle, applying advanced modeling techniques to simulate airflow, downforce, and high-speed stability.

The design language reflects aerodynamic sculpting guided by wind tunnel analysis. The concept features a dramatic S-Duct, a pronounced tail fin, and gullwing doors opening toward a panoramic glass canopy. These elements create a striking silhouette that aligns with the visual language associated with luxury car brands operating in the supercar and hypercar sphere.

Aerodynamics Designed for the Digital Era

A distinctive engineering feature of the Vision GT lies in its Active Wake Control System. Micro perforations surrounding the halo-shaped rear light guide airflow dynamically, supporting stability while preserving clean body surfaces.

The Accretion Rims introduce another technical innovation. The vortex-shaped wheel cover remains stationary through a magnetic mechanism while the wheel rotates beneath it, optimizing airflow around the rotating surfaces.

These concepts demonstrate how digital platforms allow designers and engineers to explore new ideas in aerodynamic efficiency and performance architecture.

A Technology Driven Interior

Inside the Vision GT, the cockpit integrates a full pillar-to-pillar digital display that connects the driver to Xiaomi’s technology ecosystem. Digital mirrors and a compact racing cockpit create an immersive environment shaped for high-performance driving.

The interior integrates Xiaomi Pulse and Xiaomi HyperVision systems built on Hyper OS. The platform connects the vehicle with the broader Human Car Home ecosystem supported by the XiaoAi AI assistant and the MiMo foundational model.

This technological architecture reflects how mobility increasingly interacts with connected digital lifestyles.

The Global Wealth Audience and the Hypercar Sector

The hypercar segment attracts a concentrated audience of collectors and investors. Globally, more than 425,000 Ultra High Net Worth Individuals hold assets exceeding 30 million dollars. This community represents the core audience for rare performance vehicles and technological innovation in mobility.

The global luxury automotive sector generates more than 200 billion dollars annually. Demand for limited production supercars and hypercars continues to grow as collectors seek vehicles that combine design distinction, engineering mastery, and cultural relevance.

Within this environment, digital design platforms such as Vision Gran Turismo provide a space where new ideas can emerge before reaching production reality.

A New Frontier for Luxury Car Brands

Xiaomi’s Vision GT introduces a new perspective within the world of luxury car brands. Technology companies increasingly bring expertise in software, artificial intelligence, and digital ecosystems into automotive design.

The Vision GT concept expresses this approach through an electric performance platform capable of delivering extraordinary output. Engineering projections suggest potential power figures approaching 1,900 horsepower through a 900-volt silicon carbide architecture.

This level of performance aligns naturally with the expectations of the 1%, where innovation and exclusivity form the foundation of automotive culture.

A Digital Vision for the 1%

The Vision GT concept represents an exploration of design, technology, and imagination within the automotive world. Through the Gran Turismo platform, enthusiasts and collectors experience a glimpse of how performance, connectivity, and aerodynamic artistry may shape the next generation of vehicles.

For the 1%, concepts such as the Vision GT embody the spirit that defines the most compelling luxury car brands: bold creativity, technological ambition, and a vision that extends beyond traditional boundaries.

In the digital world of Gran Turismo, Xiaomi has unveiled a hypercar concept that speaks directly to the future of automotive design and to a new generation of global tastemakers.
