A Concept Born from Adventure

Horatio takes inspiration from Horatio Fairchild, a fictional globetrotter whose adventures through the world’s most prestigious distilling regions form the foundation of the bar’s identity. His journeys come to life through Horatio’s three distinct spaces: The Retail Emporium, The Main Parlour, and The Enclave.

Upon arrival, guests enter through The Retail Emporium, where a curated selection of rare bottles awaits collectors. Here, bespoke tasting flights are designed to match individual preferences, offering a tailored exploration of some of the most exceptional spirits available.

The experience continues at The Main Parlour, where the cocktail menu, Trails & Tales, features twelve signature creations. Each cocktail tells a story rooted in a legendary spirits-producing region. The Highland Hermit, for example, combines Scotch whisky, heather honey, pear, and thyme, evoking the rugged mystique of Scotland’s historic distilleries. Another standout, Kueh Kueh Spirits, celebrates Singapore’s heritage by blending bourbon, palm sugar, calamansi, and salted egg yolk in homage to Peranakan culture.

For the most exclusive clientele, The Enclave offers an intimate and hidden space accessible by invitation only. Here, the rarest cocktails are served in an atmosphere designed to evoke mystery and intrigue, appealing to those who seek experiences unavailable to the mainstream.

A Collection Worthy of the 1%

Horatio’s back bar houses more than 300 of the world’s rarest bottles, making it a true haven for collectors. Highlights include The Macallan The Reach 81-Year-Old, Karuizawa Omoiyari 36-Year-Old, Port Ellen 1978 43-Year-Old, and Brora 1977 45-Year-Old. In a testament to its commitment to rarity and legacy, Horatio has also acquired and bottled its own 1988 Macallan cask, offering an unparalleled opportunity for collectors to experience history in a glass.

Beyond whisky, Horatio’s selection includes barrel-aged agave spirits, eaux-de-vie, and fine amaro, catering to the evolving tastes of a global audience. The culinary offerings are equally refined, featuring delicacies such as pan-fried Italian sardines and Japanese wagyu skewers, creating perfect pairings for the exceptional spirits menu.

The launch of Horatio comes at a time when the fine wine and spirits market is thriving, driven by a surge in demand from Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs). According to the BCG x Altagamma 2025 report, the sector is projected to grow by 7–9% annually over the next five years.

Globally, there are now more than 579,000 UHNWIs, and 32% of them actively invest in fine wine and spirits, whether through personal collections, direct consumption, or portfolio diversification. Rare spirits, especially ultra-aged Scotch and Japanese whisky, have emerged as a leading alternative asset class, with certain bottles achieving auction returns of over 300% in recent years.
