Dubai Introduces a New Era of Elite Mobility with Its First Integrated Private Jet, Helicopter and eVTOL Terminal
Dubai has taken another decisive step in redefining global mobility for the world’s most privileged travelers. A new multimodal private aviation terminal is now underway, designed as a seamless gateway that connects luxury private jet arrivals with on-demand helicopter transfers and the coming generation of electric vertical aircraft. It is a project created for those who value control over their time and refuse the constraints of public infrastructure.
Revealed during the Dubai Airshow, the development positions the emirate at the forefront of advanced air mobility, offering an ecosystem built for the lifestyles of Ultra High Net Worth Individuals. With more than 400,000 UHNWIs projected globally by 2029 and private aviation activity rising across every major market, Dubai is responding with a mobility blueprint engineered around speed, privacy and absolute access.
A Fully Private Gateway for Jet Setters
The terminal is being built across 6,380 square meters and is crafted as a private environment from the moment wheels touch the ground. The facility will allow luxury private jet passengers to land, clear customs in complete privacy, and transition directly into a helicopter or future eVTOL without entering any public terminal. This is door-to-sky travel without interruption.
The configuration includes immediate helipad access, a dedicated vertiport, high security zones, private lounges and a curated collection of luxury retail and private banking environments. The intention is simple: create a vertical mobility hub that supports the speed and expectations of the 1 Percent.
A Strategic Shift in Dubai’s Aviation Network
According to Sultan Rashit Abdulla Rashit Al Shene, Founder and Chairman of Alex Group Investment, the project represents an inflection point in the city’s aviation evolution. He describes the terminal as a foundation for Dubai’s future air mobility network, integrating private jets, helicopters and next-generation eVTOL aircraft into one unified system.
His vision aligns with Dubai’s broader acceleration into advanced aerial transport. The emirate is actively preparing for electric vertical aircraft, anticipating a future where travel across the city is no longer measured by road congestion or ground distance but by vertical efficiency.
Why the 1 Percent Is Paying Attention
The global private aviation sector has recorded some of its strongest years on record. Private jet activity exceeded 74,000 flights in a single week this summer and continues to rise year over year. The United States, Europe and the Middle East are among the highest growth regions, with Dubai now positioned as a central node in the global network of UHNW mobility.
For the elite traveler, the promise is compelling:
- Faster movement between global arrivals and intra-city transfers
- Private, uninterrupted movement across Dubai and the Northern Emirates
- Direct access to key destinations including business districts, marinas, helibeaches and luxury residential enclaves
- Infrastructure prepared for eVTOL integration, offering quieter, cleaner and faster urban mobility
A Vision Built Around Time and Access
The terminal represents more than a new facility. It is a reimagining of what elite mobility looks like in a city defined by ambition. With the number of UHNWIs climbing and private jet ownership surging, Dubai’s decision to integrate luxury private jet travel with helicopter and eVTOL operations reflects an acute understanding of the values of the world’s most powerful travelers.
For the 1 Percent, luxury is no longer a matter of comfort. It is the ability to move with absolute autonomy. Dubai’s new private aviation hub is designed to deliver exactly that.
